I am now stuck still looking for a solution. Well you guessed it again, the device works with the 2130cn which is an entirely different machine. I asked repeatedy lf it works on the 2135cn model and was assured that it would work. I then called Dell and they said that the Dell adapter which cost $100 would work. Well you guessed it, now it doesn't work with either machine. I was then referred to an article that indicated that I could make manual changes that would enable it to work with windows 7. There was no expected date given for availability. I then contacted Linksys to see if there was a way to make it work with Windows 7 and they said that the tehnical team was working to upgrade the drivers to make them work. Then I got a new Dell computer with Windows 7 and hoped to get it ot work in the same way as my XP. I have had the Lindsys WPSM54G working extremely well with my Window XP OS for over a year.
